Painters, photographers and sculptors

• Matthew Wong, 1984-2019. Canadian painter, photographer and poet, diagnosed with depression, Tourette’s syndrome, and autism. His work is characterised by his use of the colour blue, which has been associated with autism (see also Symbols of Autism), and depictions of solitude.

• Stephen Wiltshire, 1974-. British artist and illustrator, diagnosed with autistic savant syndrome, who draws cityscapes and landscapes from memory, after seeing it just once. Recently, a documentary was made about him and his work.
